Olokpo

Olokpo is a dual-app platform designed to bridge the gap between customers and caterers. The User App allows clients to seamlessly discover, book, and manage catering services, while the Caterer App helps food vendors manage their menus, availability, and bookings. The platform simplifies the entire food ordering and catering process, making it more efficient for both parties.

About

Olokpo was created to modernize and streamline catering services, making it easier for users to find and book caterers while giving vendors the tools they need to manage orders efficiently. My goal was to design an intuitive, user-friendly experience for both customers and caterers, ensuring a smooth booking process and an easy-to-use menu management system.

Solution

For this project, I designed a clear and structured User App that allows customers to explore caterers through filters, maps, and featured listings. I also designed the Caterer App to include key functionalities such as menu management, booking tracking, and availability settings. The dashboard for caterers provides a quick overview of their wallet balance, orders, and requests, ensuring they can manage their business with ease.

Biggest Learning

This project reinforced the importance of designing for two distinct user groups within the same ecosystem. Balancing the needs of both customers and caterers required creating an interface that was visually appealing, highly functional, and easy to navigate. I also gained valuable insights into workflow optimization—ensuring seamless transitions between exploring, booking, and managing orders.
