The AFRIMA website is the official digital platform for the All Africa Music Awards, an annual event celebrating African music, talent, and creativity. The website provides key information on award categories, event schedules, media accreditation, and ticketing, while also serving as a hub for artists, music industry professionals, and fans to engage with AFRIMA’s initiatives.

About
The AFRIMA website was designed to provide a seamless and engaging experience for artists, stakeholders, and music lovers across Africa. The goal was to create a structured, easy-to-navigate platform that highlights AFRIMA’s mission, history, and events while ensuring accessibility to key features such as award nominations, event schedules, and media accreditation.
Solution
For this project, I developed an intuitive website structure with clear navigation, ensuring users could easily explore AFRIMA’s history, awards, events, and media resources. The homepage features key highlights, including a call-to-entry for artists and a community engagement section. The event pages detail schedules, ticketing, and AFRIMA’s signature pillars, while the media section streamlines press accreditation and updates. A language toggle was also included to cater to AFRIMA’s diverse, multilingual audience.
Biggest Learning
This project reinforced the importance of designing for a diverse and international audience, considering language accessibility and cultural inclusivity. Balancing aesthetics with functionality was key in creating a dynamic yet user-friendly experience. I also gained deeper insights into structuring large-scale event websites, ensuring seamless navigation while prioritizing user engagement and information accessibility.
